Rockstar Tuna Indica Dominant Hybrid
This Rockstar Tuna, or Tuna Rockstar, is a 90% Indica hybrid. Rockstar Tuna offers an extremely high THC content (upwards of 26%) and is perfect for treating symptoms of appetite loss, chronic pain, chronic stress, cramps, inflammation or muscle spasms. A masterful crossing of Rockstar and Tuna Kush, it has a very pungent fish, spice and herb aroma, carrying on the terpenes from the Tuna Kush parent strain. However, the flavour is nice and light, with notes of skunk, spice and sweet grapes.
Rockstar Tuna’s buds are medium to large in size. They are shaped like little Christmas trees, decorated from head to toe in sparkling stubby trichomes. In addition, these trichomes glisten with transparent, sticky resin. The buds themselves are light to medium green in colour, with perfectly cured leaves of darker military greens. However, these tones are contrasted with an abundance of dark orange hairs.
Cannabinoid Range: up to 26% THC
With soaring THC levels, Rockstar Tuna provides deep relaxation without the heavy sedation often associated with Indicas. The effects come on quickly and with force, providing enhanced energy and increased mental acuity. This invigorating cerebral buzz slowly gives way to full-bodied muscle relaxation while still keeping the mind clear.

What is an Indica?
Indica Cannabis Strains trace their origins back to Hindu Kush mountain ranges along the Afghan-Pakistani border. They offer a very mellow and relaxing Cannabis experience. These plants are easily recognizable, usually with thick leaves and dark purple or blue complexion. Their buds are often dense and resinous, with a strong skunk-like aroma.
These characteristics come as a result of their growing environment. Indica plants grow lower to the ground in bunches, allowing them to combat colder, harsher growing conditions. In addition, these plants generally grow much faster than Sativa’s and produce more buds.
Indica Strains are generally more associated with relaxation and relief than Sativa’s or Hybrids. They typically have a higher CDB to THC ratio than their Sativa counterparts, making them ideal for medicinal purposes, like the Pink Death Indica Dominant strain. Similarly, Indica’s usually contain a high myrcene terpene profile, which aids in relaxation.
Choosing the right Indica Strain
When deciding which strain is right for you, we recommend that you start low and go slow. For instance, if you are new to Indica’s, start with a strain with THC levels in the mid-teens and work your way up. If you’re an experience Cannabis user, some of the more potent 28%+ strains might interest you more—it’s all about finding the balance that is right for you. Take your time to read up on different strains and try a few similar ones to see which strain is best for your own Cannabis experience.
