Jelly Breath Indica Dominant Hybrid
This Jelly Breath is an exceptionally potent and wildly delicious strain. It is created by crossing Mendo Breath with the DO-Si-Dos strain. This exceptionally rare hybrid (90% indica – 10% Sativa) has an incredibly fruity and floral aroma and taste, making it one of the most potent berry-flavoured strains we have come across (upwards of 33% THC and 2% CBD). Jelly Breath comes on strong with a wave of warming relaxation that leaves you completely relaxed and blissfully content. There is some sedation but not so much that it will just put you to sleep right away. Jelly breath is a fantastic after-dinner choice when you’re looking to wind down from a long day.
Jelly Breath has beautiful medium-sized chunky buds. The buds themselves are a lovely minty green, but orange hairs and medium green leaves offset them. The one resounding characteristic is their incredible density. We would recommend using a grinder with these tightly packed little nuggets. Breaking up these dense buds releases aromas of sweet berries as well as an explosion of trichome crystals.

What is an Indica?
Indica Cannabis Strains trace their origins to Hindu Kush mountain ranges along the Afghan-Pakistani border. They offer a very mellow and relaxing Cannabis experience. These plants are easily recognizable, usually with thick leaves and dark purple or blue complexion. Their buds are often dense and resinous, with a robust skunk-like aroma.
These characteristics come as a result of their growing environment. Indica plants grow lower to the ground in bunches, allowing them to combat colder, harsher growing conditions. These plants generally grow much faster than Sativa’s and produce more buds.
Indica Strains are generally more associated with relaxation and relief than Sativa’s or Hybrids. This is because indicas typically have a higher CDB to THC ratio than their Sativa counterparts, making them ideal for medicinal purposes. In addition, Indica’s usually contain a high myrcene terpene profile, which aids in relaxation.
Benefits of Indica Strains
There are many different medicinal benefits to Cannabis, none more present than in the Indica Strains. Like many other strains, they are excellent for pain relief, and as a result, increased mobility. These strains are also great for combatting nausea while increasing appetite. This makes them perfect for those going through chemotherapy or similar treatments.
It’s no secret that Indicas like Jelly Breath are an excellent way to increase inner peace; their strong relaxing and calming effects are well documented. Still, they also promote deeper and healthier sleep patterns. As a result, they are often used to help insomnia. Because of these effects, Indica’s are more commonly associated with nighttime use. The benefits don’t stop there; Indica’s are quickly becoming a widely used method of reducing anxiety and depression. Finally, their soothing effects significantly impact those who have ADHD and even PTSD.
Choosing the right Indica Strain
When deciding which strain is right for you, we always recommend starting low and going slow. If you are new to Indica’s, start with a strain with THC levels in the mid-teens and work your way up. If you’re an experience Cannabis user, some of the more potent 28%+ strains might interest you more. It is all about finding the balance that is right for you. Take your time to read up on different strains and try a few similar ones to see which strain is best for your own Cannabis experience.
