Sugar Black Rose Indica Dominant Hybrid
This Sugar Black Rose is a rare and wonderful cross of the incredibly powerful Critical Mass and Black Domina strains. The beautiful dense buds of this indica dominant hybrid (80% indica / 20% sativa) are powdered with sugary white crystals. These crystals help give Sugar Black Rose its unique flavour. Toasted vanilla and sweet wood give way to an earthy, floral and fruity exhale. The effects are decidedly indica dominant offering calm euphoria and full-body relaxation, perfect for the end of a hard day.
Sugar Black Rose has dense, medium to large buds. These Christmas-tree like buds are also quite sticky to the touch, as a result of the fine coating of crystals. The colour ranges from light to forest green, with red and orange hairs throughout. Dark green and pale purple leaves add a final accent to these gorgeous nuggets. Braking up these dense buds results in an explosion of crystals. We highly recommend using a grinder so you don’t lose any of the experience.
Cannabinoid Range: up to 19% THC
Though Sugar Black Rose is a hybrid, don’t expect any of the energetic and invigorating Sativa dominant effects. This is an Indica dominant powerhouse. The high comes on slow and smooth and provides lasting euphoria and happiness. Your body slowly eases itself into a deep and relaxing state, often followed by a refreshing night’s sleep. The sedation is remarkable;e making Sugar Black Rose a preferred nighttime strain of many experienced cannabis users.
Because of the heavy relaxation and sedative effects, Sugar Black Rose is excellent for combatting symptoms of insomnia and other sleep disorders. It is also excellent for muscle and joint pain as well as headaches and cramps. Sugar Black Rose is also an ideal treatment for anxiety and depression, and can even help to reduce symptoms of PTSD.

What is a Hybrid Strain?
A Hybrid strain refers to any combination of Sativa or Indica Strains. These strains offer more balanced Cannabis effects. In addition, they make it much easier for Cannabis users to customize their experience. As a result, they appeal to a much wider spectrum of Cannabis users. By combining the invigorating and energizing effects of a Sativa with the pain-relieving and muscle-relaxing effects of an Indica, these strains offer the best of both worlds.
The Science of it all
Although mother nature has done most of the work for us, modern-day strains are mostly a project of design. The cross-breeding of any plant species involves the same basic processes, and Cannabis is no exception. For instance, to crossbreed plant strains, female plants must receive pollen from their male counterparts. Out in the wild this happens naturally However, it usually only occurs between the same strains of Cannabis.
In creating new and exciting Hybrids like Sugar Black Rose, growers carefully select their cross strains and breed them in a controlled environment. After that, they can dictate which traits from each strain will end up combined in the final product. The seeds from these plants will then become First Generation Hybrids. These new plants will then be bred over and over again to help increase these desired traits.
Choosing a Hybrid Strain
Indica dominant like Sugar Black Rose, Sativa dominant or true Hybrid, there are unlimited possibilities and combinations to choose from. Above all, consider what you’re using Cannabis for.
If you need pain relief but aren’t looking for heavy sedation, Sativa dominant Hybrids might be right for you. If you’re looking to relax without the added psychoactive effects, try using an Indica dominant strain. It is important to remember that not all strains affect all users the same way.
When choosing a Hybrid strain, look for the balance that is right for your individual Cannabis needs. We always recommend that you start low and go slow. In other words, start with a small dosage and increase slowly as needed until you find the balance that is right for your needs.
