Master Pink Kush

This Master Pink Kush is a bright and notably cerebral strain. This 90% indica dominant hybrid is a crossing of Master Kush and Pink Kush, both of which are also Indica hybrids. Though its genealogy is decidedly indica dominant, the cerebral effects of Master Pink rival those of many stronger sativas.

With a strongly dominant indica profile, Pink Kush reliably provides a pleasantly potent and powerful full body-sedating effect. However, these effects are countered by an overwhelming euphoria and heady introspection. Master Pink can give way to bursts of creative energy and sociability, making it ideal for social situations.

Appearance

Pink Kush has small to medium-sized dense buds. This particular grow has minty green buds with dark forest green leaves wrapped around them. Each bud is surrounded by light brown hairs and absolutely coated in milky crystals. It has a classic earth and gas aroma, with an extremely similar taste.

Effects

Cannabinoid Range: up to 20% THC

The Indica-dominant phenotype takes centre stage, offering extreme relaxation and euphoria. On the other hand, Master Pink highlights the giggly characteristics of a Sativa. It can be very stimulating, often inspiring creativity in its users. Newer smokers might find prolonged, leisurely smoke overpowering. However, this shouldn’t deter but rather encourage cautious respect for the strength and value Master Pink has to offer.

What is an Indica?

Indica Cannabis Strains trace their origins back to Hindu Kush mountain ranges along the Afghan-Pakistani border. They offer a very mellow and relaxing Cannabis experience. These plants are easily recognizable, usually with thick leaves and dark purple or blue complexion. Their buds are often dense and resinous, with a strong skunk-like aroma.

These characteristics come as a result of their growing environment. For instance, Indica plants grow lower to the ground in bunches, allowing them to combat colder, harsher growing conditions. In addition, these plants generally grow much faster than Sativa’s and produce more buds.

Indica Strains are generally more associated with relaxation and relief than Sativa’s or Hybrids. They typically have a higher CDB to THC ratio than their Sativa counterparts, making them ideal for medicinal purposes. Above all, Indica’s usually contain a high myrcene terpene profile, which aids in relaxation.

Choosing the right Indica Strain

When deciding which strain is right for you, we recommend that you start low and go slow. For instance, if you are new to Indica’s, start with a strain with THC levels in the mid-teens and work your way up. If you’re an experience Cannabis user, some of the more potent 28%+ strains might interest you more—it all about finding the balance that is right for you. Take your time to read up on different strains and try a few similar ones to see which strain is best for your own Cannabis experience.
